Last nights dinner was @bao_london - swipe to see what we ate! The last time I visited I’d gate crashed an anniversary dinner for two, this time I had a legitimate reason to visit. Don’t get fooled by the small menu, it’s difficult not to order everything but a little restraint isn’t a bad thing. The Baos were definitely the highlight, the classic being the favourite for the table. I was the only one who thoroughly enjoyed the Black Cod but hey ho! We also loved the fried chicken and my god the bone marrow rice was delicious (so delicious I didn’t manage a pic!). My real reason for wanting to return was the dessert, the last pic is the malted horlicks ice cream with fried boa, I could eat the ice cream by the bucket load! It wasn’t the cheapest of dinners given the small menu, but I walked out feeling stuffed so can’t complain too much!
